Helena Christina Mattsson, born 30 March 1984, in Stockholm Sweden. She is the mother of three siblings Sophia who is also an actress. She is most well recognized as Sasha Gilmore in the TV series General Hospital Cecilia and Mia who is a artist and has worked on several film projects in the art department. Helena spent the majority of her life in Stockholm and graduated Performance Arts High School. After her matriculation, Helena was sent to London and continued studying acting. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles in order to pursue a profession as an actor. Prior to completing her schooling, Helena was a part of Wild Side Story and other cabaret-based shows in Sweden and then when she moved to the USA she began to appear in commercials. In 2004, Helena was able to make her TV debut in her debut on the TV series Swede Ohio. However, her accent was strong and caused her to have difficulty getting new roles. Helena tried to improve her English to correct that problem after which, once she felt at ease with her accent, she began receiving the roles. The character of Alexis Blume had put her onto the Hollywood map, which allowed the opportunity to audition for some of the most prestigious roles. In 2013, she played Brandy in the TV drama series Betrayal. The show featured her alongside Parviz Sayyad and Reza Sixo-Safai on The Persian Connection, a crime thriller action film. Peter Dinklage starred as her in a biopic released in 2018 called My Dinner with Herve.
