Rotary is evolving. There is no certainty about how the service we provide to others will incorporate the highly valued connections between people that Rotary Members had during prior time. It is not clear if the mantra "hands face space" is expected to be an integral part of our routine however, it is clear that there is a growing faith and need to be face-to-face with people. Rotary has also changed. Rotary is a network which fosters lasting friendships. Our methods have been refined to keep online meetings at the forefront of our businesses, while reintroducing social and service activities through the face-to-face method. Our newfound opportunities have combined with the lessons we have learned from previous outbreaks to bring a fresh and new perspective for Rotary. Recent Rotary survey found that around 75% of clubs had plans to carry on with their usual business. Listen to the article here. Additionally, I am happy to see that the Rotary Support Team has continued to provide invaluable resources in order to promote and help with the various initiatives. They also maintain infrastructures which keep their members safe as well as protect the public. Compliance and insurance is important. It is incredible to see the way our members have developed innovative solutions for some of the most difficult challenges. I am so thankful for the fact that Rotary allowed me to join the club in 2002. Rotary has also provided me with a wonderful group of people who are like-minded. I am thankful for this.
